jack tell our friends what we're going, to draw today a buggy a bungie we're, going to draw a realistic budget well, what's another word for budgie a, parakeet parakeet but we like budgie, better yes yeah, we're going to draw a realistic one we, hope you're excited and you're going to, follow along with us what do they need, for this, marker some papers and the coloring and, colorings at the very end we're going to, color our budgies to make them look, really bright and pretty okay now you, ready to get started yeah okay first, step we're going to draw our little, budgies eyeball we're going to draw them, up here in the top left of our paper, we're just going to draw a circle, small little circle yeah it's a good, spot then we're going to color it in and, we're going to leave, a little white reflection in his eyes so, it looks shiny and friendly then we're, going to draw his nostrils we're going, to draw a backwards c shape, and then we're going to connect we're, going to connect the top down to the, bottom, good that's a little uh colored part on, top of his beak then we're going to give, him a little nostril, nostril, and then we're going to draw his beak, and his beak, is really cute it curves into his, feathers his little fluffy head, and then, we can connect right here we're going to, use a little zigzag line to connect down, into, the bottom of his beak perfect now let's, draw the top of his head we're going to, come out of his nostrils right here and, we're going to come around they got nice, round heads yes, it already looks like a little parakeet, doesn't it, perfect good job man okay now let's draw, the rest of this body we're good to draw, we're going to draw a little curve right, here for his neck or down, for his chest and his neck really, there we go and then let's draw his, belly we're going to draw a big curve, that comes down like this, and curves back, for the bottom of his body, perfect okay now let's draw his wing, we're going to start right here right, where we ended the back of his head and, we're going to draw another curve that, comes back like this and we don't want, to come too far down because we need, some room for his longer feathers, then we're going to connect his back, down, like this into that tail line, all your little parakeets looking, perfect, okay, then we could draw the longer feathers, coming out of his tail so we're going to, draw or out of his wing we're going to, draw a little u-shape right here, for one of the long feathers, then we're going to draw half feathers, that are overlapping so we're just going, to draw little curves, like this and we're going to come all, the way, to the front but look at this watch i'm, getting smaller as we come to the front, and we can even add a couple on the back, over here, then we're going to draw a lot longer, part of this, wing we're going to draw a straight line, that comes back, then we're going to draw a curve right, here, that curves back and connects to finish, the wing, yeah good job all right here we could, draw a little zigzag line, for the fluffy part on the back of his, body and then we're going to draw the, tail we're just going to draw a u-shape, that comes back, and it comes down and back up, yeah now right here we're going to, imagine this line coming behind the wing, and then coming up and connecting to the, back, it's a little fluffy part of his back, yeah and your wing is a little wider, than mine so that's okay, now let's add some extra feathers right, here on this wing part so i'm going to, draw one line that comes down, if we ever go too fast what can our, friends do pause the video yeah you guys, can always pause the video if you need, more time so we're going to draw more of, these long tail or wing feathers, coming all the way forward, yeah perfect now right here let's draw a, couple lines on the tail so we could, draw one right there and i'm going to, draw another one that can, come, right behind it, perfect, now let's make him look a little more 3d, we're going to draw the other wing, back here we're just going to draw a, long feather, that's coming back and it's his other, wing on the other side of his body to, make him look more 3d, okay now it kind of looks like a budgie, but what what is it missing up here on, its face oh it's like stripes yeah it, has these really cool striped feathers, around it's its eyes in the back of its, head so we're first going to start by, drawing these little lines and you don't, have to draw them perfect we're just, going to draw backwards c right here, under the eye and as we go back we're, going to draw them a little bit bigger, watch this we're going to go back draw, them bigger, and i'm even going to come, back like this, there we go yeah that's a good spot to, end right there now we're going to come, up on us on the top of his head and, we're going to draw more curves more, stripes coming over his eye, so i do three and then we can kind of, fan it back, as we come back behind, his neck see how i'm twisting them, and they're kind of coming around, like a fan, down his neck, now he's looking a lot more like a like, a little parakeet a little budgie, good job now down here at the bottom, they usually have a couple spots, sometimes it's three sometimes it's a, little more i'm going to draw a little, triangle first, and then i'm going to color that in, then i'm going to add the three little, spots below that, yeah good job okay now back here let's, add all of the feather texture on on his, back on his wing okay so we're going to, start here, first let's draw a little line, back here maybe this is for the line, that separates his wing from his back, then let's draw, some feathers back here i'm just going, to draw u shapes, to fill that, that back shape in see how we just drew, use all the way down his back, yeah, you did it, okay then let's add the same texture on, the side wing so i just drew a couple, u's connected, and then we can draw more u's, below that, and just keep adding more use and you, can get a little bigger as you go down, too, there we go it's looking awesome, and this last one down here i'm going to, draw these pretty pretty long, like that and maybe even some small ones, down here to finish it, it's looking so cool, yeah just fill it in keep going you're, almost done almost done, and we did it good job all right now, right here i'm gonna add i'm gonna make, sure that these stripes come down and, kind of connect to his wing, okay then on his on his wing i'm going, to add little small little spots on each, feather so each of those u's i'm going, to color in, a black little spot to add the texture, for our budgie you want to make them, sometimes actually these spots can be, really big and their wings can look dark, or you can draw little small spots on, each feather to make it look more like, he has white, white wings with small little black, spots or white uh feathers with small, little black spots, so here we go, then on these smaller feathers, or these longer feathers right here i'm, going to add another spot that's really, long, inside, of each of them, which you don't want to color the whole, we're not coloring the whole feather we, want to leave a lot of the white, so just add a little spot in the middle, i'm going to do the same down here, on these feathers and this one that's on, the back i'm going to color that one in, yeah keep going on those longer feathers, too so this one because it's the, underside maybe this is the shadow we, can it just looks black, yeah perfect and then you can even add, little longer stripes on the or black, spots on the, long feathers yeah, good job oh man our our birds are, looking awesome now what what are our, budgies missing his feet yeah his feet, his really cool feet and we're going to, draw two lines that are right next to, each other, and they're coming forward out of his, body, then we're going to draw him, hanging onto a branch so we're going to, draw the top first we're going to draw a, claw coming down like this and curving, so a little c shape, okay and then we're gonna come back, up like this close to his leg and then, we're gonna curve back around for the, back toe, yes and then connect it into the back of, his, leg now let's add one more toe up here, so we're going to do the same thing, curve around and then back in, okay now his second foot we're going to, draw up close to his belly okay so we're, going to draw right here we're just, going to draw a small little toe, sticking out of his belly, this one is overlapping or it's behind, it's tucked in behind his body and then, let's add one more toe right above it, cool now we need to draw the branch that, he's sitting on so in between his two, feet we're going to draw a wavy line, that connects them and you can even, connect in between the toes, and then we'll imagine that branch, coming out and we can draw it kind of, wavy, and then let's draw coming out the top, also, cool now we got to draw the other side, of our branch, you got it, now we're going to draw that other side, and we want to match we're going to try, to draw a curve that kind of goes along, and matches, the same waviness of the first line that, we drew and then i'm going to imagine it, see how it's going behind his body and, then we're going to come out the top, like that, oh he looks so awesome, i love that he looks like he's perched, on a branch it looks really natural okay, now what is the last thing we still need, to do color yeah he's gonna look so much, better colored in now there are all, different kinds of budgies there's, yellow ones and blue ones there's even, yellow and blue ones and wha what color, should we color ours blue blue okay now, this part we're gonna fast forward but, at the end if you want you can pause it, to match the same color pretty fast, forward yes, all right jack we did it we finished, coloring our budgies they look awesome i, like that double high five one more, now i hope you guys at home are gonna, take time to color your drawings too, because they look so much better colored, in yeah yeah yes they do now you guys, can match the same coloring that we did, we colored in blue but we used dark blue, for shading on his belly to make him, look more round and we also tried to, make the branch look round and 3d by, adding dark brown shading or even some, black in there to make it look really, cool now you guys could also color your, little budgies that kiwi color or that, yellow greenish color, or you could even combine the blue and, the green that would be awesome, now we hope you had a lot of fun, following along with us it's okay if, your drawings look different than ours, right yes because the most important, thing is to have fun to have fun and, practice and we'll see you later our, friends goodbye

I think I've found my felting niche! I started felting replicas of my own budgies and then my favourite IG birds and even some memorial birds for people. it's so colorful and never boring! 12
