hey our friends are gonna draw a teddy, bear yeah because today is national, teddy bear day so to celebrate we, thought this would be a lot of fun we, hope you're gonna follow along you need, your markers or something to draw with, you also need some paper and something, to cover yeah you ready to start yes, let's first draw our teddy bears nose, we're going to draw it in the middle of, our paper but towards the top so that we, have room for the body we're going to, draw an, oval shape, right here, and let's color in that shape also, and then we can also draw the mouth, let's draw a little u shape that comes, down to the left and also down to the, right, and then we can also draw the snout, let's draw a curve that's going to go up, and over the nose and back down looks, like an upside down u, and then we can connect the bottom by, drawing a little curve, from the left side over to the right, side, now let's draw the eyes i'm going to, draw a circle, on the left this size and the same size, circle on the right side, to match, now let's draw a small circle in the top, left of each eye for the highlight and, then we can color in the big circle but, leave that little circle white, yeah you have to add eyelashes always, well if you want to, that part we sped up so remember to, pause the video if you need extra time, okay now let's draw the shape of the, head i'm going to start right here next, to the left eye i'm going to come, underneath the snout and then back up, next to the red eye, and we're kind of close down here at the, bottom so there's a small chin but then, for the top let's draw kind of a big, forehead so we're going to draw a big, upside down u-shape to connect the shape, of the head, so cute i love yours so much and i love, that yours is whiter it doesn't look, exactly the same but they're both, turning out awesome and that's because, the most important thing is to have fun, and two practice practice remember to, practice it's okay if your drawings look, different than ours i'm sure they're, turning out really cool all right let's, keep going now let's draw the ears we're, going to draw a, oval shape or a circle kind of a half, circle right, only part of the circle is showing, because it's connected to the head, and then let's draw that same shape over, here on the right side to match, and that's okay if they're a little, different, but we're going to try to make them the, same size there we go i love yours okay, then we can draw the inside of the ears, i'm gonna draw it smaller that same, shape, inside, oh it's really cute now we're ready to, draw the body and the arms let's start, here and we're going to draw the arm, coming down, in front of our bear so we're going to, start there we'll draw a curve coming, down and we'll start here and draw, another curve coming down, and we're going to curve around for the, rest of the arm we're going to curve, here, around and then we're going to come back, up, almost like we're going to connect but, then we'll stop, and then we're going to repeat that same, shape on the right side and try to make, them look exactly the same i think i, might start up here though to try to, match, and draw the opposite so that i can see, it a little bit better, good job you did it then we can draw the, bottom of our teddy bear our belly teddy, bear's belly right there, and then let's draw the feet sticking, out to the side so first let's draw a, little line coming out on each side, and then we're going to curve up, for the foot, around, and then connect back into the arm, here's the tricky part we're going to, try to match that same shape and size, over here on the right side and that's, okay if they're different right, we're practicing connect n yeah my, mine's a little big, let's draw the bottom of our teddy, bear's foot i'm going to draw a little, oval that touches on the outside, and then we'll do the same thing on the, right side to match, and then let's also draw the belly i'm, going to draw a little curve going this, way, over the top, hallie we did it we finished drawing our, teddy bears they look really cute except, we're not completely done we still need, to color them yeah they're going to look, even cuter this part will fast forward, so remember to pause the video at the, end if you want to match her same, coloring you ready to fast forward, [Music], how about gimme five we did it we, finished drawing and coloring our teddy, bears they're super cute i especially, love that you changed the color, yeah that's a cute polar bear, i especially love the little bow and, your eyelashes it's really cute our, friends can add whatever they want to, their drawings you can change it you, could change the color or even add more, things maybe a birthday party hat or, even a background we hope you had a lot, of fun drawing a teddy bear we do and we, also want to wish you a happy national, teddy bear day i'll see you later our, friends goodbye, [Music]

We’re Jorge, Kevin and Sean and we’re building GoLinks (https://www.golinks.io).

GoLinks is a platform that allows you to easily manage and share links by letting teams create a short link for any internal URL within a company. These links are easy to remember and share, so you don't have to bookmark or copy and paste them in emails.

Each day we use and share hundreds of links to get our jobs done, without considering how long it takes to access and share these resources. It’s one reason why many of us leave tabs open in our browser: we don’t want to spend the 5 to 10 steps to navigate back to that important page. With GoLinks, you’ll be able to deep-link directly into any application with just a simple keyword entered into your address bar. This allows links to be conversational. For example, one employee can create the keyword “go/review” to point to the annual review page in Workday. Later in a meeting, that employee can mention, “Remember to visit go/review to fill out your annual reviews!” Now anyone in that meeting can remember and access the link “go/review”, without digging through their email or Slack.

Golink systems are commonly used in many big tech companies such as Google, Linkedin, Twitter and Airbnb, built by internal tools engineers in those companies. These systems have become an integral part of the way tech companies share internal links.

When we started our careers in tech, we would often visit each other for lunch at these tech companies and we began to notice the same go/links everywhere. In the hallways, cafes, break rooms, posters. fliers and TVs, there would be these keywords prefixed with “go/” that allowed employees to quickly access information on their devices. The employee could enter a shortened URL like go/food into their mobile browser, or desktop, and could access the lunch menu for that day. An easy and simple concept, but an extremely powerful method for internal communication.

Although these systems are ubiquitous in large tech companies, we noticed there was nothing on the market that catered to startups, midsize, or non-tech companies. Companies usually don’t have the time or the resources to build sophisticated internal tools, so we set out to create GoLinks as a Service.

The challenge was building an internal tool for companies that may not have any internal infrastructure. For example, large tech companies have infrastructure so when you connect to the company Wifi or access the VPN, you can access the internal company network. This allows users to access the “go” domain on the network, which resolves the deep link redirection. For smaller and midsize companies, employees might be 100% remote or working in a coworking space, or maybe the company never got around to setting up an intranet. We had to build a product that did not rely on assuming internal infrastructure.

We were able to replicate the functionality of an internal network, and the simplicity of a short-link redirect system, by creating browser extensions for each of the popular browsers. The extension would proxy the “go” domain to our server and we authenticate and redirect the user to the correct location. Now coworkers can be on any network and any wifi, and as long as they authenticate in their current browser, we can find their company’s internal links.

We are startup-friendly—anyone under 10 users can get started completely free—but our main initial focus is on enterprise clients.

Creator here . I've been working on a free, six-week, online cooking class to help beginner and novice chefs build skills, toward the goal of preparing a 3-course gourmet meal guaranteed to impress mom for Mother's Day.

I appreciate that landing pages are generally frowned upon as Show HNs; if you feel compelled to downvote, I understand.

While I'm certainly hoping to recruit some cooks among us, I wanted to share this project because I want your feedback on this as a conversion tool, and I hope to share back any ideas or implementations you find interesting.

Some "neat stuff" you might appreciate:

- Though this is an Ember.js app, it loads _real_ quick due to a prebuilt index.html deployed (with all relevant assets) to Firebase CDN [1]

- There are nudges and triggers all over the place. An exit intent nudge gets registered as soon as you scroll past "Menu". Try hovering over the nav bar before and after. This only works once, because we don't want to annoy the user. [2]

- I set a consistent fingerprint across all analytics tools, using a lib espoused by adtech friends [3]

- If on Chrome, the parallax is responsive to resizes, supports variable height, _and_ is hecka performant—even in light of all of the listeners + analytics code. [4]

- The source for the welcome email is public too; it is generated with HEML [5]
