hi guys it's me danielle danny buttons, and i'm here today with our april, disney page of the month if you're new, here every month i do one color by, number page in these giant french disney, coloring books and they're a lot of fun, and i like doing them for you and you, guys seem to like watching them so today, we're doing a page out of portraits but, before we start i have some like, i don't know back end business to take, care of one i'm recovering from a cold, i'm doing much better i just have the, residuals which is the most annoying, part but hopefully if i sound weird, that's what's going on and i'm gonna try, my darndest not to sniff, we'll see what happens two, i'm super close to 4 000 subscribers, what i had no idea i just checked the, other day and i realized how close i was, so i'm gonna say it at the beginning, instead of the end that if you're not, you should subscribe i'm a fun time, and i do a lot of disney content, coloring challenges tags all that kind, of stuff and you should definitely stick, around if you're interested, three i, decided this month i was going to do the, black outlining in speed time lapse and, then i'd come back and do the coloring, and unfortunately i forgot to turn the, time lapse on for about 10 minutes so, you missed the beginning of it but that, means my black outlining is already done, i have recently started doing my black, outlining with acrylic paint markers uh, it's been about two months that i've, started doing this this is the arteza, acrylic paint marker i got a 12 pack for, like 15 on amazon pretty good deal so, far it's been working great uh you'll, see i guess i can open now, where are you, [Applause], i actually did a lot of black outlining, and it held up pretty good my qualm with, this paint marker in particular is it is, not matte it is a, glossy paint marker so you could, probably see the shine in different, spots it's not my favorite but i didn't, know that before i purchased them and, i'm going to use them they just, definitely work well so, there's no bleeding with these, paint markers let me talk about this, book for a second before we get any, farther this is the portraits book it is, kind of like a in the trompe leo series, which is the um what is it called in, english optical illusion series which, basically if you open to a blank page, you can i think hopefully in person you, can see the outline of, um, the inside out characters so like fear, joy, disgust sadness and anger but that's not, what the page is so this page is, actually a picture of let's peek at it, quick, um, snow white and the evil queen, so, i guess you can kind of tell back there, you have to look really close i don't, love this book, that aspect of it it's kind of weird oh, this one i can tell better so ursula is, kind of outlined in the foreground and, then it's the evil stepsisters from, cinderella are the actual page so this, book feels like a big misprint because, it kind of all of the outlines are, different pages which is different from, the old ones i don't know it's very, strange so for example i don't know if, you can tell because again it's hard, it's faint but this time the outline is, basil from great mouse detective and, that's actually this image, so this is the page you will color basil, and this is him outlined, and this page is actually wendy and her, brother, it's a weird it's a weird time, but yes i'm going to insert the time, lapse of me coloring this, now, [Music], so there you go i never think of like, where i'm gonna put that so that's what, i've done so this page i picked because, we only need, essentially eight colors so i've already, pre-picked all of my colors and put them, in color order i'm i'm being very wiggly, today i'm sorry these are my eight, colors i'm using the statler dual ended, markers and i forgot this notification, but uh my personal set leaked in the, beginning when i first got it so some of, the markers are still dirty and i always, get marks on my finger so that's what, that is i'm fine it's just ink, but yes here we go, whew i'm going to, just get right into it, sometimes i'll do the background first, for this page in particular i know what, it's going to look like so i'm going to, actually do the number three first, and you'll see why when i'm done, but, yes, i, the positive thing about, switching from black marker to the, acrylic, paint instead is that if you, accidentally hit into the paint, uh it does not budge once it's dry so, you can see i'm going right over those, paint lines and it doesn't matter, which is nice so yeah the hard part, about this particular volume having that, other image back there is you really, have to like look hard to see what, you're actually coloring which can get, annoying in my opinion, so i have to focus pretty hard right now, and then when i get to an easier part, we'll be able to chat more again, but, yes okay so i had an idea for a, potential like vlog series i do, and i need you to let me know if it is, too much basically i was thinking that i, would figure out a way how to pick every, month but i would pick a movie and then, for that movie i would do, three different coloring pages, throughout the month or, it could go either way i could either do, three coloring pages or i could do as, many as i could depending but the idea, would be to do, at least one this style one pixel style, and one non color by number from that, movie, if that makes sense, let me know i know i do a lot of disney, content and i don't want it to be too, much if you're not into the disney stuff, but it's hard because i feel like if, you're not into the disney stuff you'll, just skip those videos like i don't, think you'll like unsubscribe, i would hope, but maybe if you are into the disney, videos that's, extra content, so does that make sense i was thinking, of doing like for one week i do as many, little mermaid pages as i possibly could, but the goal would be to do at least one, of each category, it's hard because at this point, um, disney books are what i'm buying most, and i enjoy them so much but i, definitely want to keep coloring in them, more, so let me know what you think of that, idea, i'm gonna get started on that, if we like it, yeah so for doing this again i always, treat these videos as if you've never, seen anything on my channel before, because, i don't like falling a victim to my own, pet peeve which is people that are like, well everyone knows what they're doing, no maybe you don't maybe this is your, first ever danny buttons video but what, i do, for these pages is i like to outline the, section i'm working on, and then i will, intentionally, make stripes so, i try to go in the same direction, and i just go up and down and i could be, neater about this but, usually i just do my best i go up and, down, the smaller the area the easier it is to, not have streaking, and if i do have to pick up my marker i, try to do it along the lines because, usually when you pick up your marker you, get a little blob of extra ink, so to make that as inconspicuous as, possible and i also if i can't, and there is a very conspicuous blob, i'll just dab it away with my finger, so, yes i've had this cold, and we thought, well first i got it by myself i haven't, had a cold since pre-pandemy times i, also always look at the back answers to, make sure i'm doing everything right i, have no problems with that i know some, people don't like to peek at the back, but i like to make sure i'm doing the, best i can so i peek at the back all the, time but anyway i've had no cold no, illness since pre pandemi, so i'm not like used to this, and i'm being a baby about it, and at first it was just me sick and i, was like sam please i don't want you to, get sick too please i tried to get him, to like go in the guest room and he's, like no i always get sick first so if, i'm not sick that must mean i'll be fine, oh please please please but he didn't, want to and obviously i'm not gonna, force him and obviously i could have, gone into the guest room myself but, i'm a diva so i didn't want to, but, um, yeah so i was sick for a few days like, one really bad day and then, two like medium days and then i was, pretty good for a few days and then the, second wave hit and i was sick again so, it sucked but now it's just like the, residuals you know when your like nose, is stuffy for like two weeks after the, cold, so that's what we're dealing with now, but of course about three four days, after my initial illness sam did end up, catching a cold too and i was like gosh, darn it samuel, i didn't want this to happen to you i, didn't want you to feel my pain, so he is still in the thick of it, but i think he's getting better every, day too so overall we are doing good and, i think everyone who reached out and, wished us well, i just again we're like out of practice, with it more than anything, but yeah, see how i don't even have to be careful, near the line that's so nice, it makes these pages go nice and quick, i picked this page because it didn't, have too many colors because a lot of, the new books have so many colors and, it's overwhelming so i just wanted to go, back to a nice and simple one i love, donald duck right now i'm in a duck duck, zone, for disney ducks only not real ducks, but, we're enjoying them, and, yes, this page is actually going to go pretty, quick, i couldn't believe i wasn't filming uh i, was so mad at myself when i figured that, out, because, it was funny i thought about it, but then i didn't check it hello i don't, know why i did that, but it happened and then i finally, checked it and i was like oh no, so right now i'm filming on sam's lunch, break so if you hear him puttering, around that's what's happening and he, might come sit down when he's done, making lunch, so, we'll see i really actually don't know, what he's doing because he's making a, lot of noise, oh another thing i forgot to mention at, the beginning darn it um, right now the poll is up for my march, nope april buddy color, every month i do a group buddy color, where i put a poll on my community tab, and i have everyone vote on what book, they want to see me color from, in the hopes that you guys will also be, able to color the same page so it'll be, a big group body color and this month, the, uh answers are so close, like i was filming i'm pretty sure it, was 33 across the board which is pretty, unheard of usually there's a runaway, answer so that was pretty crazy and, um i personally if you have not voted, yet i personally would like to do the be, quiet page so if i could sway you a, little bit that would be my vote, but, i picked them all so i'm good with every, what i'm good with anything, but it is yippie kawaii from danny, banani but the page that i want to do, actually she has a freebie download so i, would just link to that and then, obviously you can download it and print, it, and participate that way, um and then there is chibi girls by jade, summer, and, there is, a lulu mayo book so i think it is cute, and a million cute animals which i think, now there are two newer ones since then, but i didn't want to do the brand newest, in case people don't have it yet again i, try to pick ones that the most people, will have but obviously it's super hard, because all of our collections are, different, and things like that and that's why i do, the vote so, oh that's seven, i always try to keep my markers out for, the whole time i'm doing the page in, case i miss things, it's pretty easy with a page like this, where there's not too many colors but, okay, one so the background is where it gets, difficult i'm gonna start at the bottom, [Music], and oh wrong side, and you'll see it yes, but i just opened the same side twice, oh i got really scared that secretly, both sides were fine tip or something, and i had never noticed before, but i almost never use the fine tips on, these markers, every once in a while if i'm doing like, a pixel page or something and i want to, do x method maybe i'll do it but, it is not common, for me all right so again i'm just going, to, outline the color i'm currently working, on, and then go for it oh, this marker is very juicy yeah i have, the problem with this set that all of my, markers were super juicy they were like, overflowing, with ink it was kind of crazy and i, actually exchanged them and the second, set was the same so i don't know if it, was just manufacturing at the time of my, purchase, but i decided to keep them anyway, because i really do love these markers, and they, 95 of the time give me everything i need, to do these pages and that's what i, wanted them for so, i ended up keeping them but that's why i, get ink on my fingers so, just at the end of the day i de-inkify, myself and it's all good, oh i think he's messing with the, dishwasher that's what it sounds like, also to do the inside half of the page, i'm gonna flip, the book, so i hope that doesn't bother people but, that has always been the easiest way, to get in there and once you know like, that's my favorite thing about color by, number is it's really easy to flip the, book because it's all numbered so, let me outline it well it's on this, direction, and then we'll flip, actually i'm gonna do the next color, first before we flip because it seems, like there is not very much of the next, color, so then i can just flip when we're ready, for everything, i don't know where this image of donald, is from i could probably check the back, and see if they let me know but, sometimes they'll just say that it's, donald duck, yes other than that i haven't been up to, very much, my cousin's birthday was actually on, easter so we had a game night for her on, saturday instead here and it was fun we, basically just played, whoa how did i do that there was, actually paint or something on my marker, that was weird sorry i got a streak but, we played taco caco cheese pizza, well let me know if you've ever played, basically it is a card game that is just, smacking each other, and it was so much fun and so crazy, but um, what you do, is, you go around in a circle and you say, oh i missed some down there that's not, what you say, let me just get there right now, you say whatever's next so like i'll, flip and i'll say taco and then say, almost like cat and then my cousin will, say go and you go around and around like, that and if your card, matches what you say, everyone has to try to smack the card, before like you don't want to be last, so if i say taco and i flip a taco i, have to smack the cards, but if i say taco and i flip a goat then, nobody smacks anything you know and we, keep going around and then there are, specialty cards, so there's gorilla and if a gorilla, comes out you have to like beat your, chest and then smack the cards, and if a, um, what else is there, groundhog there's a groundhog you have, to like smack the table and then, smack the cards like you knock on the, table as if you're digging like a, groundhog and smack the cards and the, last one is narwhal and if narwhal comes, out you have to clap above your head, like as if you have a horn, and then smack the cards, and let's just say we get very into it, and there was a lot of smacking, going on and it was just so funny, because you're trying to go really quick, so i know i in the past have grilled my, head and just like beat my fist off my, head instead of my chest, and my cousin at one point gorillaed and, then she slammed her fist down on the, pile instead of just slapping it and it, was just a lot of fun and literally like, that's all we played so we had a game, night basically based on that whole game, my cousins also had the game called, steal the bacon which was made by the, same people, that we did play a few rounds of, but that one i couldn't get on like i, was real bad at it i couldn't figure it, out, so i'm a big taco cacko cheese pizza fan, though my problem is twofold one i hate, like i don't want to hurt anybody which, wasn't a qualm for the rest of my family, but that was my one problem and the, second problem i have is i don't want to, break my nails, so i tried to get into it and my cousin, like smacked my pinky nail and like, almost broke it and i was like, so i will, not good and i just lose and that's fine, though because it was still a lot of fun, and we're like laughing till we cry, because it's so intense, but, yes enjoyed that game night for sure it, was funny because i actually gifted them, that game for christmas to my cousin's, daughter um i got her a different game, called spot it and spot it is basically, like you flip a card and every single, pair of cards will have at least one, matching image so each of the cards has, like 10 different images on it and, everyone something will match from one, card to the next you know what i'm, saying, but um, so for spotty you kind of have to like, call out what you see, and i got that for, her for christmas, and i bought it really early because i, do all my shopping really early and i, was talking to her and she's like oh, yeah we just found this game called spot, it we just played at my friend's house, and she's like yeah and i was like oh my, god no way she's like yeah i went home, and i bought three copies and i was like, oh no, so i had to return that game, and it was funny because i tried to not, say what i got because i wanted it to be, a surprise but then i was like all right, well no more surprises for you i'm, buying taco cacochis pizza please don't, purchase taco cut kochie's pizza but, then it ended up that they loved it so i, secretly say i got two hits in a row, because they loved spot it, i just didn't get to give it to them, also this page went super super quick, so, whoops i kind of, i didn't realize but i love it donald's, looking good let me check in the back if, it says where he's from nope it just, says donald, so i don't know where this image is from, probably one of the short cartoons so i, don't know if i was talking quick, or coloring ,Ask HN: How to deal with GDPR / cookie notices in the context of a crawler?To comply with the new European legislation many websites put a GDPR / cookie consent notice in front of their websites. There are different implementations of this. While some are only implemented as modal covering the website or bar on the bottom of the screens (in both cases right next to the original content), other implementations redirect the user to a totally different (sub-)domain or even hijack the request and show the consent form instead of the requested content (on the same URL with a 200 status code).

The latter ones present a issue to my crawler. I cannot access the content of the page without accepting those notices.

Things I'm considering to bypass those notices:

* US IP address (easy to implement, but some websites also display those notices to US IP's)

* Heuristics to detect those notices and accept them programatically (takes some time to implement - while a couple of vendors (i.e. OneTrust) offer off-the-shelf solutions which are easy to identify and automate, there are also many custom made solutions, so the system would need understand the concept of a consent form and how to bypass it - some forms only require the press of the right button, others involve checkboxes/radio buttons). To collect test data one solution might be to visit a set of websites once with an US IP, once with an EU IP and/or with different user agents (browser or googlebot).

Do you have any ideas how to approach this problem? Or are you even utilizing some techniques already and are willing to share them?.

For my January cover page, I drew my grandmother's Christmas carousel. It's my favorite holiday object! One of the little golden buttons at the bottom activates it and it plays Christmas music. I love it! I did the coloring with watercolor. 10

This took SO many hours and it isn't even technically the first page... Maybe I should have picked something easier for my first time trying adult coloring, but I've always been ambitious. 11
