[Music], hi there wendy here from drawster cute, in this video we're going to draw and, color a realistic rose so let's get, started to draw this rose we're going to, first start by drawing a curve that, looks like as if you were going to be, drawing a vase so i'm going to start by, right here, and i'm going to come in, and i'm going to go out, so this is the round part, of the rose, and i'm going to bring it in, so let's do the same thing on the other, side just go straight across, about let's see how, wide you want your rows to be about, right there and i'm going to try to draw, the same shape on the other side it, doesn't have to be exactly the same just, something similar so curves about right, there i'm going to come in, [Music], and start to round off, [Music], and, bring it, in, so there kind of looks like a vase right, that's the shape that you're looking for, and then from there you can bring this, in a little bit more just make it easier, just connect it, there, so then from there let's come up right, here to this petal we're going to draw, the outside petal and we're going to, curve it around we're going to come in, curve it around and we're going to bring, this huge curve all the way down, kind of towards the center a little bit, past the center so we're going to bring, this big curve down, [Music], and we're going to bring it all the way, around, to about, there, so that's one petal and then let's, finish off this one it's gonna we're, just gonna finish off and bring it in, right there, okay so now the next step is come about, right here just give yourself a point, and we're going to draw another petal, and so we don't want to go too high we, want to come about just about the same, height as this petal right here so, about right, there, and then bring it in, [Music], so that's another petal and then finish, off this one just come right here on, this edge and just bring in the curve, so now it looks like this is inside this, right pretty cool just adding that line, really um, changes everything and so then from, there right here in this center area, right here we're going to draw a curve, so just to make it look there's another, petal right there, and then one more right here, i'm going to angle it a little bit, and then one more just to fill it up so, maybe this one just comes up a little, bit, and back, and so then for some details on this, petal as some of the rose petals kind of, fold over we're going to come about, right here at the top and we're going to, draw this curve, so come about right here and we're going, to come in, come out, a little bit, continuing towards this curve, and bring it all the way down and, taper it to this line, so now it looks like it has this petal, that's folded over pretty cool right, again, and so there we've got the rose in so, let's draw the leaves that makes it look, like a rose so we're going to come right, here in this area and we're going to, draw a curve so for those little leaves, so come up, and then i'm going to bring it in, and, nice and round, off and then come in here in the center, just, draw a curve inside for the leaf, and then for the outside leaves we're, going to give it two two more, leaves come out right here, and we're going to draw a curve down, and we're going to bring everything back, down to the center so we're going to go, up, and bring it back in so same thing on, the other side just to make it a lot, easier curve down, go up, and, bring it back in, so now it's really starting to look like, a rose right, so now let's draw the stem we're going, to come about right here towards the, center, draw two angle lines, and bring it down, nice and straight, so there got a rose in, and that's pretty much it i hope i made, it really easy for you to follow along, in that, drawing your rose won't be so, intimidating anymore, so now i'm going to go ahead and color, this rose for you, and i'm once again just using your basic, water-based markers and this is just a, crayola brand and i'm going to go ahead, and color it, [Music], [Music], so that's pretty much it for the, coloring portion with the markers for, this rose and so i hope you saw that, when i went in there again, with the same color red and just to make, these areas a little bit darker and so, now i'm going to go in with a color, pencil i'm just using a dark brown just, to pop it out a little bit more and give, it some more dimension you can add some, more shadow with this color pencil, [Music], so there my rose all drawn and colored i, hope you love how it turned out and i, made it really easy for you guys to, follow along i did go in there with a, white colored pencil at the end just to, give it some highlights to make it look, a little bit more
