[Applause], hi, everybody welcome or welcome back to the, youtube channel, so today finally is the day that i'm, going to be filming, the completed flip through of chibi, girls coloring book volume one, by april amber if you guys have been, here with me, since i think sometime mid last year, i haven't written down in here um you, guys have been seeing, me month after month share my finished, pages out of this book, and not only are they finished pages, they are split, colorings so i have been so lucky, so blessed everything that everyone has, said in the comments about, um how you know lucky i am to have, someone to color with my family members, friends whoever it may be that i have, someone who will do these split, colorings with me, i completely 1 one million percent agree, with you, i am so lucky to have had, people in my life to do these split, colorings with and i can't, say thank you to them enough it's been, so fun, we're gonna keep it rolling don't worry, even though this book is now, 100 completed we will still be doing, split colorings, not necessarily out of april amber books, possibly, but we do have other books already, picked out that we want to start doing, split colorings in, that you'll most likely either see in my, august finish pages and if not august, then starting in september so, like i said we kind of started off slow, it became a really popular thing on my, channel every finished page, every finished pages video people you, know would always say how much they, loved my split coloring so we started to, do more every month, um and we got to a point where we were, doing four or five, split colorings a month so we were able, to finish this book i wanted to finish, it by the end of the year, and we finished it in july 2021, uh like i said i think we started it in, august 2020, i believe like i said it's written on, the back one of these pages so once we, get there i'll see for sure but i, believe it was august, august or september 2020 so, less than a year it took us to finish, this book i'm rambling, i'm sure you guys just want to get to, the flip but again i, just want to say thank you again to my, mom and my sister they watch my videos, so hi guys, thank you for doing this like coloring, and everyone who has left sweet comments, about the split pages uh thank you, i really appreciate you guys enjoying, seeing these pages every month, and watching this video so without, further ado i'm just going to go ahead, and flip through, talk it's probably going to be kind of, repetitive but um, this is my first ever completed coloring, book in my, entire life not sure how many times, again i'll be saying that, so obviously i think it you know, deserved its own, dedicated video so here we are chibi, girls, coloring book volume 1 april amber it is, super grubby super dirty this book has, traveled, back and forth back and forth sometimes, we color there sometimes we color here, it's been through it, um so it's very well loved and, we just have the first chibi, which i colored solely on my by myself, i figured to fully say that every page, had been colored i needed to do the, intro page it's just a little, very chibi saying have fun, all right so here is the first page, so if you're new and you just stumbled, upon this video because you wanted a, flip, of a completed april amber trippy girl, book this may not be what you expected, um when i said split colorings in the, beginning of the video this is what i, meant by that we quite literally um, cut the page in half with scissors i, just fold it down the middle, cut it in half and i always end up, giving the right side to either my mom, or my sister whoever is completing the, page with me, i keep the page in the book so, throughout this entire book every, picture on the left is completed by, myself, and i'll say i'll mention whether it was, my mom or my sister who completed, the half on the right also i would just, like to shout out, danny buttons here on youtube i'll have, her channel linked below as well as i, think, i will go back through her videos and, try and find the first ever video i saw, of hers, it was a long time ago obviously like i, said we've been doing this since last, year so sometime before that even, i saw her do these split colorings with, her husband, and i was like oh my gosh that is so, cute that is so fun, i must do that so i completely um, learned this idea or got this idea from, danny buttons so definitely go check out, her youtube channel if you enjoy this, because she also posts, um photos on instagram of her split, coloring she shows her split colorings, and her finished pages, so definitely go check her out as well, 100 credit goes to her, as far as i know um she came up with, this idea, so 100 go check out danny buttons, without further ado here are the pages, um this one was colored uh just this, past month in july, and i did it with my mom i don't think, i'm going to go through, what we used on every single page i'll, just say, at the beginning of this i use alcohol, markers and so does my sister, my sister uses caliar alcohol markers, and i use an array, i have cali arts i have i have lamouche, um i have our text i have art fly i have, a few copics, like i have a little bit of everything, when it comes to alcohol markers, so um there could be anything on that, page, uh if you have a specific page that you, really are curious as to what i used for, like the skin tone or her clothes or her, hair just leave me a comment and i'll, definitely let you know exactly what i, used, as far as embellishments my mom pretty, much is just colored pencils she doesn't, really embellish with much, sometimes gel pens sometimes a little, alcohol marker me my sister likes to use, gel pens, i use uh sometimes i use the, metallic water paints on this page like, you can see the shine on the clouds is, um, wink of stella pen so things of that, nature, glitter gel pens white posca white jelly, rolls, that's kind of what we're working with, in this book we try to keep it pretty, simple, as it going on and on we definitely, upped the game every page got, more and more intense um, so yeah that is this one, then we have this page which i did with, my sister, so on the right side is my sister's half, this one came out, very very similar i love when that, happens i also really like the color, palette i chose on this one, i'm not sure how much commentary you, guys really want to hear on this, or if i should kind of just flip through, it this, is a much older one this was one of the, first, batches of these that we did and this, one is done with my mom, i specifically remember if you can see, on her face on my side there's a little, bit of a smudge and then i was like well, i guess i'm gonna make her green and, then the idea kind of just, spiraled from there that she would be, like evil, the evil apple from snow white, with the toxic eye i drew in the spider, webs, this one was a lot of fun and probably, the first page that i got like super, creative, and changed aspects on the actual page, my mom also did the same thing adding, the apples on the curtains the diamonds, on her crown, we just got really creative i mean my, mom's makeup in the eye, come on we both picked purple for the, dress, super cute this one, still might be one of my all definitely, top five, 100 top five favorite finishes in this, book for me personally i just, i don't know what happened with my, alcohol markers they laid down, so smooth like, so smooth i just love, the way this page turned out i love the, the glitter gel pen accents i used, the shading or um yeah the shading i, added on her dress, we both made it nighttime sky, this is one with my sister you can kind, of assume i think you guys can probably, tell on camera, when it's alcohol marker versus when, it's colored pencil when it's colored, pencil it's always my mom, so when the right side is alcohol marker, it's gonna be my sister's side so, this one was me and my mom super fun, page, i streamed this one live myself coloring, this live over on my twitch channel that, was fun i added, glitter gel pen in the sand my mom's, side, she got some good texture over there, with her colored pencils, sand looks good beautiful sunrise, i tried out you'll see the eyes change, quite a bit i think we all, struggled coloring the eyes in this book, and continually, continuously tried new ideas and ways to, color them in so you'll see a variety of, chibi eyes, and kind of our progress this was, another one from, earlier on, then we have the alice in wonderland, page my mom kind of went more alice i, went mad hatter, i love this page love the way i love her, fiery orange hair, i love what my mom did with the outfit, the detail on the background that she, added if you guys can see, this is one of the pages i would have, used metallic watercolor paint, another probably top five finish for me, personally, this is the first time i ever did the, galaxy background, i have an entire video on how to do this, i'll put a link here, a little card link if you want to go, check that out, how i did that with alcohol markers i, was so pleased and proud of myself, i love the way that came out i love the, contrast between the hot pink, my first little alien baby i love my, sister's, planets and her little added detail, there on the, astronaut suit so cute so cute her, little space buns oh my gosh i would, color this page again and again and, again and again, this is one of my favorite pages in the, book without a question as far as like, as a whole i love this page, this might be getting colored again in, the the duplicates that they give you, oh this fun one so this one was, me and my mom again um we both made her, i think, uh the little circles in her eyes were, there she was implied that she was, psycho, going crazy going mad um i love what my, mom did with the green and the red, though in her eye, i tried to get a little creative with, her outfit, this was one of the more basic pages but, i think me and my mom really pulled it, off, she added the math problem up there, so cute loved how that one turned out, this one oh so fun this one was so fun, oh my gosh, another one i really really love me and, my sister my sister's side is, top tier top tier one of her best i, think, i love what she did with the ombre, background she added that moon guys, oh my god um the hair so, cute this was one of my favorite eyes, that i did, um back then i was like so proud of that, little galaxy blue eye, i think i just really vibe with the, theme of this page like little vampire, batgirl, very much my aesthetic another page i, would easily color again, very very happy with how this one came, out, slam dunk on that one this was a, recent one from just july this past july, this flower one the only page i decided, to give a border to in this book but i, really do like it i think if we did more, april amber pages i would consider, doing the border again um again you'll, see a little bit more of that watercolor, metallic paint on my side my sister, added um the, guy from uh ferngully, i don't know his name i can't remember, his name the bad guy in that one but, so cute i love the i love both of our, color palettes on that page, one of my favorite pages my mom did this, is probably my top five for my mom, um if not top three i love this, page that she did it's so freaking cute, this one's so fun, um i love the background this is the, color palette she picked really worked, it's so, bright and there's tons of colors but it, just goes together so well i love how, she gave her like, red tips very harley quinn i did like, full-on anime girl that's what she, reminded me of with her little, schoolgirl outfit i added in the little, like, anime i'm angry symbol that you'll see, in like, manga um very cute, very cute page, then we have this one which i think to, date is still my sister's favorite, finished page that we've done, i'm not sure last time i heard her say, she still really loved this page, and it is it's so good this one came out, really well and this was one of the, first ones we did um, way back when we first started doing, them so, we, did really well on this one i love the, sun that i added in the back, this color one of my favorite cali art, markers i'm gonna be very sad the day, that one dries up i just, love that color um, i love my how my sister's eye came out, and her outfit, i'm gonna like what's there more to say, i literally love every single one of, these pages, they're all slam dunks home runs, just 10 out of 10's in my book like i, said so, oh this one oh me oh my, so i like i said uh earlier i pretty, much, only used alcohol alcohol markers up, until this point, my mom used colored pencils so i wanted, to go ahead and try my side, also using colored pencils this side is, completely done, with prismacolors i didn't base anything, except for the bush in the background, everything else from start to finish i, did with prismacolors and it took me, 10 000 years in the cave of wonders and, i didn't like it so, i was like well good for you mom i love, that for you but not for me i'm going to, stick to my alcohol markers, but i did really really love how this, came out i mean i made it in it theme, i tried to make her um like georgie from, that movie added the red balloon and the, little paper boat, i made the umbrella clear which i, thought was really cool my mom's, umbrella, this color palette so pretty, added the puddles we both did like a, stormy sky, so cute, this one oh my gosh we did this so, long ago so so long ago another one, at the time i was not that i'm not proud, of it now i just remember finishing it, and being like oh my god it looks so, good um once again you'll see new styles, with the eyes i did like, glitter in her hair my sister again with, like the moon pattern, added the bat so cute, so we went completely opposite, color palettes and it came out, it came out so good it is so fun to flip, through this book, um but to be to be completely honest, with you guys, i flip through this book almost every, single month when i show it to you so, this isn't kind of this really isn't a, trip down memory lane for me because, i look at this book all the time i, definitely, cherish it and it makes me so happy, looking at the pages so i, consistently look at the month from, month so i'm gonna be sad when i tuck, this book away and i no longer get to, look at it every single month but, i'll have this video now forever that i, can refer back to and so can you guys if, you want ever inspiration um, on any of these pages or on split, colorings or anything like that, all right so another one with my sister, um, we both kind of did a version of like, reddish hair which i thought was fun and, our pants came out, almost identical my sister added um, like a little print camo print on there, that's the word, again i loved how my hair came out i was, trying my new brush markers at the time, i had just gotten some, so i was trying those out and i love the, way the hair came out on this one, i added a little bit of freckles, so fun so cute, oh an og in og this one is on my, instagram, i one of the only split um colorings i, posted like a full picture of on there, this one is so fun i love this so much, this brings back memories for sure we, both picked purple eyes, without even knowing this page is so, cute another one i would definitely, color again and it's been so, long since i colored this so i would, definitely love to color this again this, one, is with my mom, another one with my mom the party page, you guys would have seen this one, recently, love it i love how my mom uses purples, and pinks, all the time it makes me very happy, because those are my two favorite colors, this little one was done with my sister, i tried like a new background technique, just a basic blonde hair very fun page, the moon page that i really messed up, because i didn't have the other half of, the page oh i love this one, i love her pastel pink hair that i did, in her outfit, i love the palette i picked i love how i, whited out the roses, came out so cute the eye on my sister's, side the orange hair, so pastel palettes just make me so happy, but as you can see like, this was supposed to be the moon and i, did this, as the moon i don't know it's hard when, you can't see the other half of the page, like you fully don't know what's going, on with the outfit, the hair the background it can get it, can definitely get tricky for sure, the be page another really fun one i, love when my flower came out on this, side i made it dark she made it daytime, pink i went full on bumblebee queen, pretty pleased with that eye actually, too, freckles again, my sister's fairy wings and the touch of, glitter on the bow, guys these pages are so fun, another one people loved this page when, i showed it in my finished pages oh, my mom did literally amazing, top tier probably my favorite am i, saying that about everything you guys oh, my god check me, i've said it how many times do you like, how many favorites do you have, like all of them okay yeah all of them, are my favorites, of course um the unicorn girl page my, mom did, stellar uh i i could look at her side, all day every day like dream palette oh, so cute i gave her like pink purple, ombre cotton candy hair i was really, pleased with how that came out, very fun one of my favorites, top five have we gotten to five, oh my goodness this one was loads of fun, pop girl pink hair, i went full out cosplay kind of like, halloween, how you would dress up on halloween, possibly as a cop, i love my sister's side as well a new, type of eye you guys can see i love it, to see like the progression of our eyes, and we both made it nighttime on that, one too, this one is fun because this is the very, first page i did with my sister, oh my gosh this is so like if you look, like i don't know i, i'm not sure which one my sister thinks, is like her favorite but i mean, you know like this was just done in july, versus the very first page that we did, you guys can see how far we've, we've come we came with like, these pages i'm pretty sure i have yeah, um, august 20th so yeah we started this book, in august, i did a page with my mom and a page with, my sister and this was the very first, page, with my sister so this little cleopatra, gosh that's so cool to see, it is literally so cool to see a little, bit of gel pen, on the pyramids i love that, this finished page another little alien, baby, pixar moment here love it i tried the, purple galaxy background, so much fun and this one this, is the very first page ever this is the, first ever split coloring that i did and, i did it with my mom, i have it here um oh, did i lie oh actually i did i think it's, september, i said august it's september september, 20th um, september 20th was the day we did these, all right yeah so ah this is the first, one with my mom, how fun oh my gosh, look at that, so i can show you um with my mom as well, you know just to see like the, progression and how much you know just, under a year like of coloring these, pages consistently like how much better, that you get and it's still all just fun, but it's so cool just to see the, progress you make, throughout the book on like coloring, eyes and, you know just everything like it so, so this is really special so the very, first page ever colored, in this book for split coloring then we, have, the genie page which i went full-on, aladdin inspired, i love my sister's background this one, was really cool, lots of bling lots of bling very shiny, paige, our miss flight attendant chibi with my, mom, pull her opposites again, crazy it's so cool when the pages come, out like this though cause that's like, true split coloring right there, we have the gesture i just showed this, last month as well, so you would have seen i did um, hunchback notre dame, the gesture in that fun page, with my sister another one with my, sister, oh this one was fun i tried like just, doing a square on the background i never, did that again, interestingly enough i do like the way, that came out i went full on geisha with, the bright white face and little red, lips, this was my first attempt at blending, hair how did i do, we both added the flowers to her kimono, looks so good that's that's a really fun, one, this one another one i love love love, besides the smudge on her face oh it's, so good looking, oh my gosh look at this, can't hear you we both gave her freckles, i love, my ombre hair we both went, uh added tattoos added things to the, outfit i completely changed her outfit, as you can see, oh my god this one was so fun, very creative very fun page, oh my gosh guys that was the last page, so this book does have doubles, um so i still do com um consider it, completed because, obviously if they didn't give you, doubles it would have just been this, book, um it is 30 images so we did complete 30, split colorings, all together like i said i'm not sure, how many my sister didn't how many my, mom did but, pretty split down the middle i had to, guess which is really cool, again i can't thank either of them, enough for doing this with me every, month, and i there's no way don't even ask me, to pick just one cause i can't, but i will bet your bottom dollar i will, ask you to pick your favorite page, so definitely leave me a comment below, telling me which is your favorite page, finished page out of here, i mean can you pick just one i won't, blame you if you say two or three but, Creator here . I've been working on a free, six-week, online cooking class to help beginner and novice chefs build skills, toward the goal of preparing a 3-course gourmet meal guaranteed to impress mom for Mother's Day.

I appreciate that landing pages are generally frowned upon as Show HNs; if you feel compelled to downvote, I understand.

While I'm certainly hoping to recruit some cooks among us, I wanted to share this project because I want your feedback on this as a conversion tool, and I hope to share back any ideas or implementations you find interesting.

Some "neat stuff" you might appreciate:

- Though this is an Ember.js app, it loads _real_ quick due to a prebuilt index.html deployed (with all relevant assets) to Firebase CDN [1]

- There are nudges and triggers all over the place. An exit intent nudge gets registered as soon as you scroll past "Menu". Try hovering over the nav bar before and after. This only works once, because we don't want to annoy the user. [2]

- I set a consistent fingerprint across all analytics tools, using a lib espoused by adtech friends [3]

- If on Chrome, the parallax is responsive to resizes, supports variable height, _and_ is hecka performant—even in light of all of the listeners + analytics code. [4]

- The source for the welcome email is public too; it is generated with HEML [5]

Retro green-screen iPad—fun and easy on the eyes: Accessibility > Display > Color Filters > Color Tint (then you can assign it to toggle via triple-click on Sleep button). Red and amber look neat too! Dark Mode and Reader view recommended. 11

Dry trichomes will appear clearer than fresh because the base of the gland or the secretory cells are actually responsible for the milky or amber color. As the glands dry that area shrinks changing the appearance to look more clear. JOMO (GMO x Sugar Shack) 12

Trimming trich-laden Free MAC outdoor - stoked to run this again next year and let it go longer. (Went for 10% amber.) Love the color on this. Tastes like sugar cookies and the high makes me want to dance in my chair. Free World 💥 13
