we hope you guys are really excited, we're gonna draw something super cool a, realistic eagle, all right checkers got your marker yes, all right we hope you guys are gonna, follow along with us we're gonna take, this nice and easy and it's gonna turn, out amazing you ready to start yeah, we're gonna use a sharpie you don't have, to you can use a pencil if you want to, but we really like using sharpies, because it shows up super dark on the, paper and if we mess up if we make a, little mistake it's okay we can turn it, into something cool or we can draw it, again and practice, we're also going to use colored pencils, we got black gray brown orange and, yellow we're gonna put those off to the, side and we're gonna first start with, our eagle's beak so we'll start right, here and then we're gonna draw, an arc, or a curved line that comes down because, they have a hook on the end of their, beak, awesome, and then curve down, now we're going to draw his mouth we're, going to start right here and we're, going to come back, to, past the top line that we drew, good now we're going to draw the back of, his beak so we're going to curve right, here it's going to come down and we're, going to get close to his mouth but, we're going to stop before we get to it, and then we're going to curve around his, mouth, and back under, good now we're going to draw a little, detail that comes back like this, now we're going to come over here and, we're going to draw the bottom of his, beak so we're going to start right here, and we're going to draw a line that, comes under so we're going to draw it, diagonal so we'll start here and then, draw it over to about here, yeah, and then we're going to connect between, these two lines with a curve or a, rainbow line, good job now let's draw his nostril draw, a little oval, good now eagles always look a little, upset yes their eyebrows they have, eyebrows that are coming over their eye, so we're going to draw an s line it, comes it starts right here at the top of, his beak it's going to come down back up, and then curve back down, it's a little sideways s, good, perfect now let's draw his eye and it's, going to be a circle but it's going to, be underneath his eyebrow so we're only, going to draw part of his eye it's going, to start here, and draw a big circle that comes around, so it's like half of a circle, yeah cool now the inside let's draw is, pupil on the inside it's a little circle, right here and then we can color the, whole thing in, now they have a little detail that goes, around their eye, and it it kind of looks like like their, eyelid, now we're going to draw the top of his, head so we're going to start, right here over his nose and we're going, to draw a curve, like a rainbow line that goes over his, eye and stops over here just below his, eye, on this side, kind of in line with his mouth, yeah just like that then we're gonna do, a little zigzag back up, then we're gonna curve back down, another zigzag back up, another curve down, one more zigzag up, and then another one down, okay we finished this side of his head, now let's draw this side of his head, we're going to draw a line that comes, down from his beak, right here, good and then we'll draw another little, zigzag up for the feathers, and then we'll draw another curve out, and a zigzag backup, and if we go too fast pause the video, yes you guys can pause the video now, this last one right here is going to be, an s curve so we're going to curve one, way and then back the other way, good job now we're going to connect from, this side of his head over to the other, side so we're going to start by drawing, a curve up, this is going to be his shoulder, good and then we'll draw a little zigzag, back, and then a line back up, perfect now let's draw, a little, v, shape this, way then more feathers coming back, and it's exact back up, good now we're going to connect, over to this side and if we're below it, that's okay we can just draw a curve and, then connect this one in, good job checkers gimme five you did, awesome now we're gonna put our sharpie, away and we're gonna make them look even, cooler with our colored pencils now, we're first gonna use our gray and we're, gonna add some texture to his bald head, okay all right so we're gonna start here, on the left side of his head and we're, gonna do it really dark, right against the edge, all the way down, so let's put a little dark line, next to the sharpie, like that, now let's also do that same line over, here on this side, a little dark edge, perfect, next let's add more texture coming in, and i'm going to do this quick and kind, of messy so that it looks more natural, see how i'm drawing little spikes that, come into his head, some of the spikes can be long and some, of them can be short mix them up so it, looks more natural, now we're going to add a little extra, shadow underneath his beak and i'm going, to do the same thing i'm going to add, some spikes, come down for the feather texture, and then right up close to this beak, right underneath his beak i'm going to, get dark, with the gray and then lighter as we get, further away from the beak, now let's add a shadow underneath his, eyebrow, so we'll just start dark, and then get lighter as we get further, away from his eyebrow, we'll do the same thing over here, on this side of his eye, now i'm going to add more texture right, around his mouth, and let's a few spikes that come out, the last thing we're going to do with, our gray is add a little shadow on top, of his eyebrow it goes right over his, nose and i'm going to add a little, gray or spike that comes right down the, middle of his forehead, now let's switch to our yellow, and we're going to do the whole beak, solid so let's fast forward, now we're also going to color the eye, yellow, next let's switch to our orange and, we're going to shade the beak okay so, right under his mouth let's add a little, line a little shadow and then we're, gonna get really dark on this side of, his mouth, and then lighter as we go over to the, left, fade out, now let's shade the tip of his beak, right here super dark and then as we, move to the left let's do the same thing, and fade out, let's also color that little piece of, skin next to his eye, now let's switch to our brown and we're, going to add a little extra contrast or, shadow underneath his beak so right here, get dark, press hard and then as we go across to, the left side get lighter and lighter, let's draw a separation between the, fleshy part on his beak and the hard, part on his beak so we're going to draw, an s line and we can press a little, harder so that it shows up it's going to, go over the beak and then come under and, connect into his mouth, so this is where their nose or their, nostril is and this part is soft and, kind of fleshy and then this part is, their hard beak, now we're going to switch to our black, and we're going to add more shading, we're going to make the shadows look a, little darker so right here let's start, and add texture just like we did with, the gray, for the feathers so i'm going to come, down be really dark on the edge and make, a few little spikes come in, to his head, see that so right where we had the spike, come in we'll just do it lightly, a little extra texture, that cool yeah, now you don't have to do it exactly like, us you can use your own, creativity to add your own feathers and, texture to his head and make it look as, cool as you want, now we're going to do the same thing on, this side, good job chuckers i like the shading, right under his beak let's do that same, kind of shading under his eyebrow so, start dark and then get lighter and fade, out towards the bottom, now i'm going to add a little extra, shadow right here on his forehead, and then we can darken right here on the, edge of his beak, now if you have a white pencil we can, add a little highlight on his pupil i, forgot to mention we needed white too, that little white spot on his eye makes, his eye look a lot shinier yeah now one, last step we're gonna fast forward i'm, gonna use my sharpie and add just a, slightly thicker line going all the way, around our bird okay, checkers man you did a great job on, coloring and drawing your eagle you look, super realistic give me five did you, have fun yes i love the shading and i, really like that extra thick line that, we we put around the eagle's head i like, doing that too yeah it makes the eagle, pop right off of the page did you have, fun yeah you promised, we hope you guys had a lot of fun too, following along with us and if we ever, did go too fast they can always pause, the video yes don't forget that you can, always pause the video and remember the, most important thing is to have fun so, don't worry if your drawings don't look, exactly like ours you should always, practice and i promise the second time, you draw your eagle it'll always turn, out better than the first time we'll see, you later our friends goodbye
