foreign, [Music], welcome back to my channel, so today I have started a page out of, jewelry box and what I have done is I've, added some Cobblestone elements to the, page here let's, open up the page here so you can see, okay it it's a bit of a mess right now, but I will definitely be able to clean, it up and make it look good but I had a, little bit of difficulty getting the, stamp to go on smoothly I had to put my, stamping, um, I don't know what they call these things, stamping pad underneath, in order for it to have a smooth, application, so anyway, I finally got the stamping on and what, I'm going to do is I'm going to color, this in and just basically use this as, or use the stamping as more of a guide, so to speak for this Cobblestone here on, the bottom and where I didn't get it, quite up to the edge of the image here, I'm going to just go ahead and draw that, in with my black pencil, so I think once we get everything going, here it really shouldn't be that, noticeable, so yeah in the stamp in case you're, wondering is from I found it at uh my, local discount store really good price, 299 bow bunny wall to wall textures, stamps there's three of them there's, this Cobblestone there's a kind of a, brick and a wood texture so I thought, these would be great for backgrounds for, coloring pages, so I couldn't wait to use the, Cobblestone one and so we're gonna do, that today start coloring in that today, and I almost forgot to mention that I, used my distress ink in black soot, so if you don't have this particular one, I'm sure any kind of black, stamping ink would work just fine, so one other element I would like to add, to this page is a moon in the background, I just think that would be the perfect, addition to this part of the page and I, have a circle stencil here which I am, going to use and we'll just put it in, this general area right here and I'm, just going to grab a regular mechanical, pencil, um, yeah, hmm maybe I should go ahead and just use, my black fine liner come to think of it, let me grab that where did that go, excuse my reach here okay so I have my, Micron fine liner in O3, which is pretty small, and we're just gonna put it right here, [Music], go on very well but, we'll go over it a couple times there it, goes the ink was just not not wanting, to cooperate there, okay, perfect, now we've got our moon there, all right I think we're pretty good, we're ready to go so I'm gonna put this, on just a tiny bit of fast forward, and set to music like I do most of my, coloring videos and yeah so I'll, probably have voiceovers throughout so, you know explaining what I'm doing and, giving any kind of hints or tips I can, think of and yeah so sit back and enjoy, foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], [Music], [Music], right so you see me holding up the size, 10 round watercolor brush and yeah so, lately I have really taken to using a, regular watercolor brush for blending in, my Neo color twos instead of the water, brush pen for some reason I think it, just it just looks better so for now, that's what I'm going to be using for, blending out my Neo color twos, uh and this ends up being the only, uh brush that I use because it's got, such a nice tip on the end of it I can, even use it for little tiny areas, so if you have a nice size 10 water, brush, paintbrush watercolor paintbrush that's, what I'm trying to say, if you have a nice size tan watercolor, paint brush, yeah go ahead and give that a try if you, haven't before with the neo2s it works, really well, also I just want to say that, um, it'll probably be in part two because I, am, going to have to cut this video into two, parts because it's actually ends up, being quite long but in part two towards, the end of finishing this page, I do end up going back and adding just a, few more elements to that background, foreign, [Music], [Laughter], [Music], so here I'd just like to say for those, who haven't worked much with Neo color, twos and that when you are working with, the light colors you want to make sure, that you start with a clean brush and, specifically when you're going between, the light and the dark colors you want, to make sure that your brush is clean, so that you don't transfer any of the, dark color into your light areas it, takes a little bit of practice but you, will soon see what I mean when you begin, to work with them, and here you can see I'm dragging that, dark gray just a little bit into the, light gray area so that there's a smooth, kind of ghostly transition between the, two colors, and I, quite often clean my brush off and get, more water and dab it on the little, paper towel there, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], the black background in pencil work here, between the fence posts I found that, adding two layers at least of the Black, Pencil worked the best here I'm trying, to just, you know smoosh I guess a bunch of black, pigment down but I ended up figuring out, and you will see here in a little bit, where I first laid down a lighter kind, of using light to medium pressure, um, base layer with the pencil and then, going back over one or two more times, with additional layers of pencil and I, think that that worked out, the best, [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, foreign, [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, out my Splendor blender, you can use any kind of colorless, blender that you have on hand so I do, use this for a portion of the blending, because I just happen to have it on the, desk sitting next to me but later on in, the video you will see me using gamsol, with a old paintbrush and I found that, that actually worked better, foreign, [Music], [Laughter], [Music], [Music], all right so, um just a little mistake here, um I didn't realize I had my sepia color, um I meant to have espresso, so they are very very close in color so, it didn't really matter for this page, but you see me pulling sepia, um, when actually I should be using espresso, so pull out your espresso and put it in, these little spots, instead of sepia, foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], thank you, [Music], [Applause], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Music], so the color combination that I decided, to use for the cemetery gate is a new, combination that I haven't used before, but what I was trying to achieve was the, look of an aged bronze metal work, so I feel like uh the combination, definitely helped to achieve that, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, foreign, [Music], thank you, foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, foreign, [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], so I add black outlining, um just kind of going over that line, work there after I have laid down my, colors for the metal work I usually do, this a lot anytime I am coloring metal, work it really makes the, uh the image really stand out and pop it, is a bit of a tedious step but you will, see that it really enhances the overall, look, foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Laughter], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], yeah so here I'm just adding more of, that shading and outlining with my, really sharp, Black Pencil and I really like to use my, little tiny mono zero eraser to help, erase any little spots where maybe I, went over an area that I didn't want to, have a black line on so yes that comes, in really handy, foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], all right so once I have finished with, my black outlining and shading, um I decided that for those outer, posts or pillars, I wanted them to have the look that they, were kind of pushed further in the, background so I went ahead and went back, in with my espresso and Sandbar Brown, just to deepen up, those shadows and make them look a, little bit more recessed in to the, background, [Music], okay so here is where I decided to get, out my gamsol and my old little tiny, paintbrush there, and I really like to use the gamsol for, blending I find it is the absolute best, way to blend when you are really wanted, wanting a good saturation of colors, so, I just basically grab it out of the, bottle and kind of Pat off any excess, onto my paper towel there and then just, get to work with scrubbing and blending, the paper, and as you're working along when your, brush starts to kind of dry up and, you're noticing that the pencil is not, blending as well that's when you go, ahead and reload your brush up with more, of the gamsol solvent just make sure, that you dab it onto the paper towel, before you apply to your page just to, get off any extra colors that you don't, want to transfer around and also so that, you don't have too much of the solvent, on your paintbrush, and then lastly I dip it in the gamsol, and then clean off the brush onto my, paper towel when I am done so that the, brush is relatively clean when I go to, use it the next time, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], thank you, foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, foreign, [Music], thank you, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Laughter], [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], foreign, [Music], [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], thank you, [Applause], [Music], [Applause], [Music], yes, [Music], [Applause], [Music], all right so I apologize that my hand is, kind of in the way this is such a tiny, little detail it's hard, for me to do this and for you to see at, the same time but essentially what I am, doing is just adding little white dots, with my pasta around that flame where, Hannah had drawn in those little dots, and you can see there that I actually, outlined the flame but then I decided I, didn't like that so I didn't do it with, the other one on the other side and I'm, going to go back in with my colorless, blender after the pasta dries you can, manipulate that pasta by using a, colorless blender, and a sharp tip is definitely helpful, and just scratch off, the posca pen anywhere that you like if, you want to just scrape a little bit off, or take off the whole thing entirely, [Music], [Applause], foreign, [Music], [Applause], [Music], [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], [Music], [Music], thank you, [Music], all right so this will conclude part one, for this Cemetery gate page and I thank, you for joining me I hope that you've, enjoyed it and we'll see you for part, two take care

I forage wood that has been colored blue-green by the mushroom that grows on it, turn it into trinkets and jewelry, and sell/barter it to other goblins to buy my own shinies. I'm just now realizing how fucking cool that is. Here's some of the green wood, about to be cut and shaped into earrings. 2
A long string of light-weight, coiled metal. Squarish edges rather than round. When pulled, it does not retract. Bronze-ish coloring. Possibly related to jewelry? Wondering what it is and how to use it. 3
